Short Story Workshop

Author Jenn Farrell will be running a short story workshop entitled "Drop the Needle: Music as influence and inspiration in fiction." She will be discussing how music ties us to both time and place in ways that can be inspiring or evocative.

Poetry Workshop
Saturday, April 10, 2010; 3:00-4:00pm

Join poet A.F. Moritz for his Master Class on poetry. Part of the session will be devoted to discussing how writing in an urban location affects one's poetry, specifically how it may influence the form. Afterwards there will be time for a Question & Answer session.

Creative Youth Workshop
Saturday, April 10, 2010; 2:00-4:00pm
Burlington Central Library, 2331 New Street, Centennial Hall
Join young adult author Jocelyn Brown for a creative session inspired by The Mitochondrial Curiosities of Marcels 1-19 and modelled after the main character, Dree. We'll be creating a craft from the book and discussing techniques for writing online.
